November 29, 2012 will surely be a date to remember in the Philippines, and maybe in the whole world. To celebrate the new Glorietta, they are holding the biggest fashion show with 2,500 models to break the world record for the Most people modeling on a catwalk!
I have heard this outrageous idea about a month ago and thought, “Is it really possible?”.
Days gone by and before I know it, some of my friends are already joining the fashion show. Ok, so these are not my model friends, they are normal people who are gonna walk the historical runway. I was like, “For real???”.
It was very hard to believe that my normal friends are gonna walk the runway because I can only imagine what the show’s gonna look like. But then again, if one’s gonna think of it, no one can really pull off a 2500-model fashion show anywhere with perfect models. That’s why maybe it was “Most PEOPLE modeling…” rather than “Most MODELS modeling…” (redundant).
As I hear it, normal people will be getting freebies while some models who will be walking for brands will get as much as 2k each. Also, models, or those who will be walking the runway, will be doing their own makeup. I don’t see anything wrong with that though. And here’s the biggest tip, a worldwide dance phenomenon will be doing a performance after the fashion show. Can you guess who it is?
It’s gonna be a super fun show for sure because my friends are gonna be part of the it and the whole world will be watching as well.
The event will start by 5pm Manila time at Glorietta Makati.
